Not that you asked…

or even that you care, but I’m starting a blog.  My own life is just too fascinating to keep to myself anymore.  

See….fascinating.

Okay, so the REAL reason is that we’ll be abroad for 7 months next year, though Ted consistently fights me tooth and nail on that last month–seriously if you comment on this blog, what do you think?  If we are in Europe anyway should we not spend the extra time and travel?  If I knew how to set up an opinion poll in WordPress, I’d do it, but for now any comments in my defense will be fine.  I’ll delete dissensions so don’t bother.  Yet I digress…

Oh yeah, so the reason for the blog is to keep the fam (and anyone else who might be oddly interested) abreast of our activities while we’re away.  Or, more to the point, abreast of the activities of a certain 4 year old.  Let’s be honest, no one really cares what Ted and I are up to…it’s all about the girl.

So it’ll be fun, right?  Stay tuned.  If you’re lucky you might get to see an actual finished knitted object (not likely–but there will be tons of work in progress–that is if I can get my act together and take/upload photos)  We’ll see how it goes.
